As you know, we are avid followers of any innovative charity initiatives, especially when such initiatives are handled in uniquely appealing ways. This is the case for Cadbury Canada’s One for Me, One for You™ contest in which one winner will receive a $100,000 grand prize and another $100,000 will be donated to a charity of his or her choice.
But what attracted us the most was the platform itself: it systematically presents two mirror screens, and you cannot move your mouse throughout the left side, where you register to earn instant prizes for you, without moving it simultaneously in the right hand side, where it registers instant prizes for charity. You are greeted by the following introductory text:
“Welcome to oneforme.ca”
-> “and welcome to oneforyou.ca”
“Where whatever you do on this side of the page”
-> “You also do it on this side of the page.”
“You could win $100,000 for you.”
-> “And for a charity of your choice.”
“Enter to win $100,000 by entering to win an instant prize.”
-> “And enter to give $100,000 by entering to give an instant prize.”
