Donatella Versace acknowledged that Tim Burton’s highly anticipated film adaptation of the classic “Alice in Wonderland” (we certainly can’t wait to see it next March!) was her inspiration for this collection, combining it with classic Versace designs and fun. “I loved the idea of that fantasyland” said Versace.

The inspiration can be seen in the various contrasting and alluring prints that would hypnotize you into the Rabbit Hole. Furthermore, the influence can also be seen in the charming rabbit (The White Rabbit) prints on plastic see-through skirts (Through The Looking Glass). Combining the amusement of Wonderland with Versace’s talent for sexy short skirts, tight-fitting tops, prints extravaganza and gorgeous killer-very-high heels deemed to be a great combination, resulting is an exceptionally fun collection infused with a strong whiff of imaginative youthful play (perhaps from the singing flowers!?).
