Since their first collaboration of footwear, one of the most creative and innovative fashion designs of our time, Alexander McQueen and Puma, have been successfully redefining trainers for this generation.
Earlier this year both parties announced their desire to expand the collaboration to include men’s and women’s apparel and accessories. Upon seeing the collaborative effort in the recently released campaign, the results were worth waiting for indeed.

I must admit that ever since Italo Zucchelli became creative director for the Calvin Klein Collection men’s my head has been spinning with enjoyment. Mixing unusual fabrics (such as jackets made out of material typically used to make bicycle seats) with the house’s signature minimalist architectural designs and out-of-this-world monochromatic colors that somehow make the outfits come to life as you walk in them. Zucchelli worthily won the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) award for best menswear designer in 2009.
China has overtaken the USA to become the world’s second-largest luxury market, following Japan. A rapidly expanding middle and upper class in China seeks to enhance its identity and quality of life with luxury goods. In 2008, the Chinese wealthy bought a quarter of the world’s luxury goods, which amounted to about $8.6 billion, according to the World Luxury Association.
