The iconic queen of pop was the face of Louis Vuitton for the second time this year. The sepia tones and decor give the set overall a timeless Paris setting while the bright color shapes and provocative poses bring Madonna’s pop style and glamour to the set. A great meeting point between the queen of pop’s creative team with the influential photographer and her long-time collaborator Steven Meisel and Louis Vuitton’s heritage and its uniquely talented creative director Marc Jacobs.
Just released, the shoot reveal Madonna with the collection’s emblematic bags in Monogram canvas and Monogram-embossed leather.
Jacobs reveals how the photo shoot is unique in itself and how ideas such as the bunny ears Madonna is wearing came about. “She’s heaven to work with,” he says of Madonna. “Clothes to me mean nothing. It’s the person in them. Madonna brings so much. She’s just got an amazing presence.”

It is in fact the second time this year Madonna is featured in a Louis Vuitton campaign, as she is also starring in the current 2009 Spring/Summer collection by Louis Vuitton.
